If you are a Star Wars fan, which, sadly for some, I am not – however; today, I believe is International Star Wars Day – May the Fourth be with you – ha ha, bad joke – but tomorrow – not only is Cinco de Mayo it is Revenge of the Fifth…..yes, another bad joke. Mexican holiday or Star Wars spoofs, May 5th is going to be a great day in Prince Rupert.
The Churches of Prince Rupert are hosting a FREE concert at the Civic Centre @ 7PM with Dan Bremnes and band. To kick the afternoon off, many of our youth from various denominations will gather at 12:30 PM at Mariner’s Park for some Civic Clean up and to hand out invitations to the young adults of our community. While the concert is open for people of all ages of faith or not, the intention is to reach those between the ages of 13 and 24, the future leaders of our community and churches.
If you would like to help in any way tomorrow, whether it be in the afternoon with Civic Clean up or setting up at the Civic Centre @ 4 PM, we would love to have you!
